Templates

Edit the exact wording of every message your salon sends — booking emails, WhatsApp confirmations, campaign copy — with variables that fill in each client's details.

Every automated message your salon sends starts from a template. Templates are the wording; Notifications decides which channels carry them. Open SettingsTemplates.

Gloora ships a full set ready to send — Booking confirmation, Booking reminder, Booking receipt, Rate your experience, Birthday greeting, Win back a lapsed client, and more — so you only touch the ones you want in your own voice.

Read the table

One row per message, per channel. The Source column tells you at a glance where each row stands:

  • Gloora default — Gloora's original wording, untouched.
  • Customized — a built-in you've edited.
  • Yours — a template you created from scratch.

The Channel column shows whether it's an email or a WhatsApp message, and the Active switch turns a template on or off — flip a live booking message Off and Gloora stops sending it (it asks you to confirm first). Filter by channel, source or brand to find what you need.

Edit the wording

Edit a row to open the editor. Rewrite the subject and body in your own voice, and drop in variables — placeholders like the client's first name, the service, and the appointment time — that fill in automatically for each customer. A live preview shows exactly what they'll receive.

You can't break the original

Editing a Gloora default template saves a private copy for your salon — Gloora's original stays intact underneath. Changed your mind? Delete your customization and the row simply falls back to the Gloora default. Only templates you created yourself are removed for good.

Create your own

Name it and pick a channel

Click Create template, give it a name, and choose Email or WhatsApp. You design the content on the next screen.

For WhatsApp, get it approved

WhatsApp templates are sent from your own WhatsApp Business number, so you connect it under Integrations first — the WhatsApp option stays locked until you do. Once written, submit the template and WhatsApp (Meta) reviews it: the status moves from In review to Approved — usually within minutes — or comes back Rejected with a reason to fix. Email templates skip all this and go live the moment you save.

Building a promotion? Those go out through WhatsApp campaigns, which send from your approved WhatsApp templates.
