WhatsApp campaigns
Send a promotion to the exact clients you choose — from your own WhatsApp number, with the full cost shown before anything sends.
Campaigns send one of your approved WhatsApp templates to a list of clients you pick — a quiet-week offer, an Eid promotion, a win-back for lapsed regulars. You see the exact cost before sending, and then watch every message move from queued to sent to delivered to read, per client.
Open Campaigns in the sidebar (under Business).
Before your first campaign
Three things must be true — the page tells you which are missing:
- Your own WhatsApp number is connected. Campaigns send from your WhatsApp Business number, never from Gloora's shared line — your brand in the client's chat list, your sending reputation under your control. Connect it once in Settings → Notifications.
- You have an approved marketing template. WhatsApp requires promotional messages to use a Meta-approved template in the marketing category. Create one under Settings → Templates and submit it — approval usually lands within minutes.
- Your messaging wallet has credit. Every message is paid per send, priced by the recipient's country. Top up from Settings → Notifications.
Why your own number?
WhatsApp scores every business number for quality. Sending promotions from your own number means your campaigns build — and risk — only your own score, and your clients reply directly to you.
Send a campaign
Pick your audience
The Audience step gives you three ways: hand-pick clients (search + tick), send to a whole segment (VIPs, lapsed 90 days, or your own custom segments), or all marketable clients. Clients without WhatsApp marketing consent or without a phone number are skipped automatically — you'll see exactly how many, and why, before sending.
Choose the template
In the Template step, pick one of your approved marketing templates. If it has variables like a client name, map each one — the client's first name fills automatically, or type a fixed value. A live preview shows the message exactly as a client will receive it.
Review the cost
The Review & send step breaks the price down per destination country and shows Estimated total next to your wallet balance. Short on credit? The send button stays locked with a top-up link. Name the campaign, send now or schedule, and hit Send campaign.
While it sends
The campaign page is live:
- Counters — queued, sent, delivered, read, failed, skipped — plus spend so far against the estimate.
- Today's sending window — WhatsApp limits how many marketing messages a number may send per day (the limit grows as your number builds reputation). If a big campaign hits the day's limit, it simply continues tomorrow on its own.
- Per-client list — every recipient with their current status; filter by any status.
You can Pause a running campaign, resume it later, or cancel — clients not yet queued are never messaged and never charged.
Sending pace
Campaigns deliberately send in waves (about one per second) rather than all at once — it protects your number's quality score and keeps replies manageable for your front desk.
What each message costs
WhatsApp marketing messages are priced by Meta per recipient country; Gloora charges your wallet per message at that country's rate. The review step always shows the exact total before you commit — no surprises on the wallet.
